Elvis singing at Hepp's 30th Anniversary party

Very busy weekend! Matt was working hard helping to get the shop ready for the Hepp Excavating 30th Anniversary Party/Casey's Graduation Party!

The party went great! Many people came to party with Elvis and had a great time. Lots of food and drink and lots of great friends came! Matt had a lot of fun! He was showing friend how to play rodeo on one of the big machine! He had lots of fun showing people how to hook the cones and move them.

On Father's Day Matt spent the morning with Casey and Jerry and Linda. Then Matt and Casey came to our house for supper. After supper we played on the excerise WII with Brian and Art. Matt was showing them how to do certain excerises!! What fun we had laughing at each other!

The Plan

I talked with Dr. Sugarbaker and he feels since Matt is feeling well we should wait and repeat the tumor marker test in 2 months. So we trust Dr. Sugarbaker and we have a new appt for Aug 4 at 3:00 to repeat the tumor marker test.

Matt and Casey are finishing their final bids on their house plans. They hope to break ground in mid July.

Thank you to everyone for all your continued prayers.

Tumor Marker test Back

Matt went in for a tumor marker test. The last one was when we got home from Washington DC the Feburary. At that time it was 2.10. Now the test came back at 6.40.

I called Dr. Sugarbaker to see where we go from here. Dr. Sugarbaker is in Italy talking about Matt's kind of cancer. Dr. Sugarbaker's wife will be talking to him today and I will call this afternoon to see what his opinion is. I also have a call in Dr. Eastman to see what his opinion is. I will call him this afternoon to see what he has to say.

Mrs. Sugarbaker thought anothe tumor marker test in a month. Sometimes the number can fluxuate. She thought we should do it again. She also mentioned a earlier CT scan or a pet scan to see where it is forming in Matt. I will find out this afternoon what Dr. Sugarbaker recommends.

Please keep Matt in your prayers as we continue in this process. Our family really appreciates all the thoughts, prayers and cards we have received. Thank you so much to everyone.

Matt, Nate and Casey

Matt was busy helping his family this last week getting ready for his brother, Nate's graduation. He brought several loads of stone for the flower garden, lawn mowing, trimming and making the yard look great!

Then graduation day came for Nate and everything was going good until the rain came. BOY, did the rain come for 5 hours continuous. Some people wanted to leave and found the grass area they were parked in they were stuck. Matt was in his glory! He started to hook them up to his truck and pull them all out! There was a few that his truck couldn't get so we had to get the tractor from Grandpa's Art's house to pull the rest out! We use the side of our yard as a parking lot. We were aware there might me off and on showers later that day. The weather fooled us and we had alot of stuck cars!! The beautiful front yard, south side of the the yard and the north side of the yard now all have big ruts and mud all over!

On Sunday Matt and Casey went to Westbend for Matt's car to get a check up!

Thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers!

Busy Matt!

Matt has been very busy with work and enjoying every bit of it. Matt and Casey finished their house plans and distributed it to different tradesmen to get quotes. As soon as they accumulate the quotes they plan to visit their banker. They hope to break ground in mid July.

Matt and Casey had a triple date with Matt's two sisters. The six of them went out for drinks and music. They had a great night.

Sorry for not posting for awhile. The Blogger site has been having problems and I could not get on.

Thank you for all your continued thoughts and prayers.
